Visit to the Centre Pompidou-Metz
The Centre Pompidou-Metz is a renowned modern and contemporary art museum located in Metz, France. Designed by the innovative Japanese architect Shigeru Ban, the building features a striking hexagonal roof structure inspired by a Chinese hat, symbolizing the fusion of art and architecture. The museum itself is a masterpiece of design and a perfect setting to explore contemporary art.
Currently, the museum is hosting the exhibition « After the End: Cartographies for Another Time. » This thought-provoking exhibition delves into post-colonial perspectives through the works of artists from the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, and other regions. It challenges traditional narratives and invites you to explore alternative futures and the reimagining of history.
Visit to Château de Vaux
After the museum, we’ll head to the beautiful Château de Vaux to immerse you in the rich history of the Moselle region. The visit includes:
- Welcome at the Tasting & Sales Cellar: Discover the history and future of the Moselle vineyard and its importance to the region.
- Tour of the Cellars: Explore the wine-making process, from fermentation to aging, and learn about the techniques that make the wines unique.
- Wine Tasting: Enjoy a guided tasting of five exceptional wines from Château de Vaux, each reflecting the quality and craftsmanship of the vineyard.
These experiences are designed to offer you a relaxing afternoon, giving you the opportunity to enjoy both cultural highlights and exquisite wine while connecting with fellow attendees in stunning surroundings.
